In spite of the anteriority of J.Castelluccia’s workshop, currently representing with its 75 years of existence the oldest guitars workshop specializing in the manufacturing of gypsy jazz guitars, we continue to put a point of honor to provide our customers handicraft products with the best quality / price as possible. Made in the rules of art, its acoustic qualities and finishes make it an ideal guitar to initiates manouche style.
Presented by Acoustic Guitarist magazine, like a guitar Quality / Price unmatched, this instrument is made from an original Selmer. It has a bracing made up  of 4 crossbars scale at the image of J.Castelluccia models of the 50s and the famous Selmer # 503 which belonged to Django Reinhardt and currently visible at the Museum of La Villette in France.
Top of the list of the wide range, the Gypsy proposed 1890 € TTC, made entirely by hand and in the rules of the art (folded table, selected wood quality tuners and tailpiece, etc …) can claim to be, to this day, the cheapest offered handmade guitars in this style in the world!
The Gypsy is the first model of Castellucia’s Selmer copies. It features a high grade European spruce top, highly Palo Leo rosewood back and sides, and a walnut neck. This instrument is fitted with a set of high quality three on a plate tuners and Castelluccia’s own JC tailpiece. The high grade woods and hardware found on this instrument are rarely found on French made guitars under 2500€, making this instrument an exceptional deal for someone looking for luxurious features at an affordable price. Notable design features include gently rounded binding which adds additional comfort by not pressing into your body like more conventional binding does. Additionally, the bridge includes a replaceable ebony saddle, a feature rarely found on Selmer style bridges which are normally fashioned from one piece of solid wood. You can easily adjust the action the by simply swapping out the saddle piece for one of a different height.

    Hello Jean.
I just wanted to let you know that the guitar has arrived safely and in good conditon.

I must say that I am more than surprised that there is a guitar of this quality in this price range. I am really impressed with the craftmenship quality. Until now I had much cheaper d hole guitar which is quite louder and very bass heavy, but the sound on this Castelluccia is uncomperable and much more authentic. I can just imgine how it will sound as it evolves acoustically over time. My first impressions are that the guitar is even better than I imagined it would be.

Thanks a lot for your effort and assitence.

    All the best.

This is a fantastic guitar. Beautiful workmanship, amazing playability (nice thick neck and big smooth frets), and solid intonation. Notes are very clear all the way up the neck. It’s surprisngly easy to play and a curiously good bargain for the quality. This one will stay with me forever.

    Encore merci.

Humidificateur Oasis OH1
Oasis Humidifier OH1

18,33€ outside EU (excl. 20% VAT)

The body of the Blue Oasis Guitar Humidifier is made from a specially designed fabric that allows water vapor (but not water) to pass through it. As the vapor transmission takes place, a vacuum is created and Oasis shrinks to compensate for the loss of water. By watching the Oasis humidifier shrink, you can determine when it is ready for refill. When refilling, you don't have to guess when it is full. Simply unscrew the black cap, fill with water to the top of the container and replace the cap. Once sealed, the watertight container is your first line of defense against leaks. Humigel, the super absorbent polymer crystals inside the Oasis Humidifier, are your second line of defense. Humigel captures up to 500 times its weight in water in an absorbent gel matrix. Like other sound hole humidifiers, Oasis fits between the strings of your instrument. The materials that touch your strings are relatively soft and will not scratch your strings. A blue polyurethane stabilizing bar fits over the neck of the guitar humidifier. Once positioned in the sound hole, the stabilizing bar lies across the guitar strings to ensure even weight distribution. Oasis never touches the body of your guitar. For normal seasonal humidification (down to 25% relative humidity), most guitarists can rely on the original Blue Oasis. The Oasis provides humidification for 7-10 days before needing to be refilled
